Hi, my name is

Raiyan Zaman.

I am |

Computer Science student at Georgia Tech who has shipped production systems at AWS, ATC, and Explore Digits — from Git infrastructure serving distributed ML workflows to agentic AI platforms running in production.

About

Builder first, student second.

What I do

I build full-stack, cloud-native systems — Git and infrastructure tooling, agentic AI platforms, and production LLM pipelines — and I care as much about tests and reliability as I do about shipping fast.

Education

B.S. in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology (GPA 3.9/4.0, expected December 2027). Coursework in Data Structures & Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Computer Organization.

Research & leadership

  • SocWeB Lab — Undergraduate Researcher: Developing multimodal pipelines linking consented youth social-media data with EHR outcomes for suicide-risk modeling, evaluating LLM explanation faithfulness, overreasoning, and generalization.
  • Kidney Transplant VIP: Co-developed a SMART on FHIR app for transplant patient care and secure EHR access.

Experience

Where I've shipped production code

Three internships across cloud infrastructure, applied AI, and platform engineering.

Software Development Engineer Intern, AWS SageMaker Unified Studio (SMUS)

Amazon Web Services · Santa Clara, California

May 2026 – August 2026

  • Built customer-requested, provider-agnostic PAT authentication for SMUS Git integration, supporting any PAT-compatible provider — including GitHub, Bitbucket, and GitLab — across unsupported regions.
  • Designed a secure Git credential and repository orchestration layer across 10 packages and 3 teams, supporting authenticated workflows, metadata handling, and reliable state across ephemeral notebooks and distributed workspaces; validated by 500+ tests spanning unit, integration, and pre-production E2E coverage.
  • Developed AI-assisted commit messages using semantic analysis across notebooks and source files, helping ML developers write higher-signal, reproducible commits; validated with 50+ unit tests.

AI Developer Intern

ATC · Clive, Iowa

January 2026 – April 2026

  • Engineered LangChain/LangGraph agentic RAG workflows in Python to accelerate customer support, using retrieved context and MCP tools to resolve issues or escalate cases requiring engineering support.
  • Built MCP-driven tool integrations across Zoho Desk, Jira, email, and internal APIs, enabling automated ticket creation, escalation routing, status tracking, and handoffs between support and engineering teams.
  • Developed LLM pipelines for summarization, intent classification, and reasoning across emails, attachments, call notes, and tickets, reducing manual review while accelerating resolution across 100+ technical support cases.

Software Development Engineer Intern (LLMOps / Serving Platform)

Explore Digits · Rockville, Maryland

March 2023 – December 2025

  • Shipped an ops console (Next.js/React) + MCP APIs for pediatric survey banks in LimeSurvey (PHP/Yii) for IRB-approved CHIRP™ (1,400+ parents), reducing manual survey analysis for clinicians while surfacing actionable insights and streamlining research workflows with RBAC and HIPAA-aligned PHI handling.
  • Built a distributed LLM serving gateway exposing HTTP APIs for internal AI workloads at production scale, containerized with Docker on AWS ECS/EC2 with autoscaling, RBAC, least-privilege IAM, RDS audit logging, zero-downtime rollouts, SLIs/SLOs, Prometheus alerts, and p95 latency playbooks.
  • Implemented analytics in PostgreSQL with Matplotlib reports; profiling, caching, index/I/O tuning, and rightsizing saved $50K+ annually and cut reporting latency ~40% across research and platform reporting.

Projects

Things I've built end to end

A mix of production-style platforms, agentic AI systems, and tools I built to solve my own problems.

Laamly · Self-Hosted Social Platform

Full-stack social platform, self-hosted end to end

An all-in-one social app — Reels-style short video, long-form podcasts, posts, and real-time DMs — built and deployed entirely on our own servers rather than third-party social infrastructure, with LLM-assisted content tagging.
